And it's made of tampons. The chandelier was the creation of the Guerilla Girls art collective in 2005, on display at a museum in Venice.

The IRS sent two agents to deliver a delinquent tax notice in person at a car wash.

The bill was for 4¢.
Inexplicably, penalties and taxes accruing on the debt – stemming from the 2006 tax year – were listed as $202.31, leaving Harv's with an obligation of $202.35.
I wonder how much dark-suited IRS agents get paid an hour?

We marry later and stay married more in Massachusetts than in most other states. We have one of the lowest divorce rates in the nation, and one of the lowest rates of 3-time losers. And those deeply religious states?

A Pew study has found that being a state with high "religiousity" did not correlate meaningfully (or positively) with marital longevity or stability...but being educated did.

:-)

The Denver "boot," now illegal (I'm told) in Denver, can be seen in all of its yellow metallic glory on cars around the city of Boston. Accrue too many tickets, and they'll tack a boot on your car, and they won't take it off until you pay up.

Park in the wrong place in the city, and they'll tow your car. In New York, however, they'll go you one better: towing a funeral director's van that had a corpse in it.

That's harsh...and suggests you'd best not die in your car, either.
