My one criticism of Rachel Madow's presentation below is that she doesn't *also* point out that "making stuff up" is not just a Republican problem. It is endemic in the political "system" these days. Sometimes, I think it's that people are too lazy to think or research; other times, I think it's that they just *can't* think or research. I've tucked it back here... )

Mashable shows a 2-year-old (okay, she's 2.5) finding her way around the new iPad. As the author notes,
Kids today don't know how good they have it. Back in my day, we were happy if we had two Lincoln Logs to stack together. However, parents contemplating the iPad's suitability as a children's toy might also want to consider some iPad insurance.

According to Weather Underground, the record for my town on this day in history was 64°F. Today's ~90°F should take care of that, even if my thermometer is off a degree or two.
