Curious about the quality of the air you breathe? If you live in the 50 United States, the American Lung Association has issued its State of the Air 2010 report. The link will take you to the state map, and you can look county-by-county in your state. Or you can follow the links to the best and worst cities in the U.S. by air quality (Boston doesn't make either list).

Hint: If you live in SoCal or just about anywhere in Michigan, you might want to skip this and go straight to that item about a Hello Kitty machine gun on somebody else's LiveJournal.

Indian military scientists are studying an 82-year-old man who claims he not eaten nor drunk anything for 70 years. So far, he's on day 6 of observation with no signs of any trouble.
