The continuing browser wars
Jun. 5th, 2012 07:54 amI've heard and read too many arguments about why web sites do not need to be optimized for IE compatibility, because "nobody really uses IE any more." But, as this set of figures from Ars Technica shows, IE still has the lion's share of the desktop market...and still a majority of the home desktop market.
If a business wants people to visit its web site, it damned well still needs to optimize for IE. (And no, I don't use IE.)
