It's 21 July (happy birthday, Geri!), right?

Why is it 63°F at 11:40 a.m., here in the *northern* hemisphere?

Not much better here in the UK part of the northern hemisphere ... high temperature today was 20C (68F) ... a few weeks back we were up in the 30s, but for the last two weeks it's been rain, occasional sunshine and mostly temperature in the teens or just into the 20s, with single digit temperature some nights (that's under 50F)

:-) Bring at least one cotton sweater. Just to be safe.

Already bringing a light rain jacket, plus I have some long-sleeve stuff that I am planning to wear at night in Montreal. Am peeved if weather.com is lying: they're showing around 80 everywhere we're planning to go in the next couple of weeks.

It's not necessarily a lie. We're supposed to be back out of turtleneck weather tomorrow, and through the end of the week.

It's just today that's downright weird.

We're unseasonably cool down here, as well. We've matched all-time lows for the last couple of nights. Our cheery local weather guy assured us this evening that we would pay for it in August. Oh, joy! I can hardly wait.

It's all my fault, as was the rain that fell on NYC and environs today. You see, I mistakenly left the moon roof open on my car last night. Sorry about that.

Signed,
The Sodden (but very, very happy) Birthday Girl
