You could even use the foam rockets produced to replace the metal ones that seem to be causing all this trouble (http://file770.com/?p=4384) at the moment...
They had one at Comic-Con in San Diego this year. Promoting some movie or another by sending up shapes that resemble (IIRC) restroom identifiers - i.e. basic semi-stick figures.
Since it was between the convention center and the adjacent Marriott where there was some programing and other convention activities, there was quite a crowd trying to get a look at the mechanism.
