Former Vice President Dick Cheney today defended the Bush administration's national security record and argued that President Obama is weakening the country's ability to fight al Qaeda. Cheney said "enhanced interrogation techniques" saved thousands of lives. Minutes earlier, Obama said he could not "disagree more" with proponents of the techniques, which include waterboarding.
