Okay, that was fun. Also wet.
Jun. 21st, 2009 05:21 pmWe went to see the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (a double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox Toronto Blue Jays...and fisher cats *eat* blue jays) play the Erie Sea Wolves (there is no sea near Erie, PA, and since they're affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays, calling themselves after something that *eats* blue jays is...wrong)(there is no sea near Erie, PA, nor near their affiliated townn, Detroit, MI...and I doubt sea wolves would, in nature, play nicely with Tigers).
The Fisher Cats were ahead when we left (it got too wet for me -- rain rain rain), and then blew it in the last two innings, going to overtime and blowing it big time. Score when we left, 4-0. Score at the end of the game, 4-9.
*sigh*
