See, I agree that boycotting them because their owner's a pompous, homophobic ass is a fine thing to do. Good on all of you who are voting with your feet.

Me?

I've never eaten there. Not once.

Because any organization that encourages the continued ignorance of stupid people by not spelling out "filet" would never have gotten my business in the first place.

Pandering assassins of language.

So, I can't really boycott them since I was already boycotting them. They just wouldn't notice.

US archer Khatuna Lorig lost her bronze medal match...but began the last set with a bullseye so precise that it doinked against (and destroyed) the pinhole camera embedded in the very center of the bull...and then the arrow fell out.

She did get the 10 points, however.

Her loss gave Mexico its first Olympic medal ever in archery, via the bow of Mariana Avitia. Its second, the silver, came along 15 minutes or so later.

Korea's splendid Ki Bo Bae took the gold, but only after a nail-biter of a finish. She and Mexico's Aida Roman ended in a 1 arrow shoot-off for top honors.

Great stuff.

(I'm really glad the archer from yesterday who wore the angry bird on her shoulder was not in the quarter finals. Kinda creeped me out.)

Brava, ladies!
