Ten minutes before graduation ended, the skies really opened...we were dry on stage, but when we left, instead of promenading through the students as we usually do (and getting to actually spend time with our graduates), they took us out the side, thrust giant umbrellas in our hands, and got us back to the robing tent.
I've never seen the place empty out that fast. But then again, 30 mph winds and heavy rain will do that to you.
