I'd like a non-absentee governor, please
Jan. 20th, 2008 11:53 amWillard was mostly absent for the last two years of his term as Massachusetts governor (as he "tested the waters" for his presidential run). Bill Weld at least (eventually) resigned as governor so he could try (and fail) to become the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico. (Amusingly, Weld chairs Romney's NY campaign.) Argeo [Paul Cellucci] resigned as governor so he could actually *become* U.S. Ambassador to Canada.
And now Deval Patrick appears to be spending lots of time stumping the nation, too (for his buddy Obama).
