The vagaries of spam filters

debgeislerFor the last month or so, my spam filter (not under my control, nor can I edit it in any way) was keeping out nothing -- saving only spam in Russian.
Suddenly, today, it kicked in with a vengeance, and I am not getting any LiveJournal notifications. Nor am I receiving about half of my real mail, unless I go into the stupid web interface (which is *not* user-friendly) and open the spam folder (which I cannot access, for reasons unclear to me, with my IMAP-based mail program).
Stupid spam filter.
Soon, it will be filtering out all of my email lists, I just know it.
