The recipe for the dough is online from when I was a GoH at Minicon in 2004. The first one is a batch of cinnamon pull-apart rolls; the second are pinwheels, half filled with cinnamon and the other half with cinnamon and raisins. The latter will also get slathered with frosting once they're baked and cooled.

Cookies later. And a putanesca sauce for pasta for dinner.

:-) House already smells good. Once this all starts baking? Freaking amazing!

I've never had the pleasure of meeting you -- or your mother. But this recipe, from her via you, is the BEST sweet roll recipe in the world. I make it a couple of times a year and feel as though I should pay a royalty every time.

Freaking amazing doesn't begin to cover it......

Oh! I'm so delighted that someone else finds the recipe useful! My mom sent the link to a whole bunch of people in 2004, when the recipe first went up, and my younger sister Susan has used it, too. (Mom was more than pleased to find that the recipe would keep on going.)

But there is nothing cooler than having one of the great memories of my youth become one of your memories, too. :-) Happy holidays!

Oh those look so good. I just bought foil pans so I can make the rolls.
