Space: The Twitter Frontier
Jan. 6th, 2013 08:03 pmChris Hadfield is a very spiffy guy. If the name's not familiar to you, he's a Canadian astronaut currently on the ISS, and he's been on Twitter tweeting up a storm.
Before Col. Hadfield left for the ISS, his son convinced him to do an "AMA" (Ask Me Anything) on the social news and entertainment aggregator, Reddit. It's very educational and amusing, and I followed it "live" at the time.
More recently, Hadfield has been firing the imagination of social media: first on Twitter with William Shatner, then with George Takei posting the tweets to Facebook, and finally (after quipping that all he needed was Spock for an "away team") a tweet exchange with Leonard Nimoy.
Buzz Aldrin sent him this tweet.
And today, Col. Hadfield noted that maybe his Canadian red shirt was kind of dangerous. Heh.
