Yeah - any low-lying coastal cities best start worrying, I think. Here, we have an area called the Back Bay - which was, at least to a large extent, land-fill. Some good tidal surges could be problems.

They don't call the main industrial area of Tacoma the tideflats for nothing, either.

Around here, you either live on a moraine or a flood plain. I suspect the flood plains will be getting a lot floodier in the future.
