...and so, of course, I slept very badly last night. (Got to sleep ~1 a.m., slept until 5:30 a.m. We can all do that math.)

There is a scheduled sleep study tonight at a hospital in Salem. Pack my bag, jammies, toiletries, a pillow...probably a book, so I’m not tempted to muck around with electronics.

But I could ace this test if they let me sleep right now...

Yay for little victories! And I'm glad they were able to take sleep apnea off the table. (Though easy helps or fixes would have been well worth mucking with the equipment if, indeed, you had it.)

As you know, I can fall asleep (and back asleep) within moments pretty much anytime. Yet I've now had 3 sleep studies and slept horribly for all of them. But they were still able to get enough information to know what's going on. Or, at least, as much as there are easy answers for dealing with. What's behind my other sleep issues is likely a combination of genetics and psychology.

Here's hoping your new pulmonologist turns our to be your best pulmonologist, and even more that answers and effective treatments quickly follow. Long term, *lasting* effective treatments.
