debgeislerMy prayers, especially to La Notre Dame de Bon Secours, patroness of Louisiana (Our Lady of Prompt Succor) go to those in Louisiana, Mississippi, and elsewhere threatened by Hurricane Katrina.
As we faced vast vistas of snow this past winter, our often-voiced attitude in greater Boston was, "If we're going to get screwed by a snowstorm, let's at least hit a record."
Today, I realized that records are exactly what we *don't* want in New Orleans or anywhere on the Gulf coast.
