My thanks for your prayers
Jan. 7th, 2008 05:02 pmSeveral weeks ago, I asked for your good wishes and prayers for one of my graduate students, Brian, who had been in a very serious automobile accident and was in critical condition.
It was a hard Christmas for Brian and his parents. But I'm happy to tell you that he is stable, recovering, and has been moved to a rehabilitation hospital. His injuries, while they were life-threatening, are almost all expected to heal completely. He suffered no brain or spinal trauma. I'll be talking with him later tonight, and visiting him soon.
Thank you for your prayers for him. I know they helped.

on 2008-01-08 01:07 am (UTC)No, he can't hold books right now (casts), and he's not a TV person. So I'm going to bring him some audio books...and his mother says he kind of digs "futuristic science fiction."
I think I can cover him there. Just maybe.
