That piece doesn't even rise to the level of bad journalism. It neither points to the page in question nor quotes it. It further encourages the reader to read "exclusive transcripts" without linking to those, either. It engages in sheer speculation -- "One hopes Marsden didn't learn about the split by reading Jimmy's love note online" -- and uses that speculation as fact in the headline.
The poster also links to the valleywag article, rather than to Wales's alleged post. It could be any of the following, in decreasing order of probability: (1) She is a stalker; (2) The item being auctioned is by some other person just taking advantage of the publicity; (3) Things really happened as the article claims.
Apparently, there is some truth in there somewhere - Wales and Marsden were having an affair and aren't anymore.
Can't speak to "did Wales really break up with her online," but the stuff about eBay is apparently right. And there are alleged sex chat transcripts online that allegedly took place between the two.
A russian circus couple are getting a divorce. But they are not breaking up their circus act. Which among other things, contains her shooting an apple off of his head with an arrow. Heard it on a news of the weird thing on the radio driving home tonight.
